As an educator, John is passionate about working with performers of all ages and levels.  He served on the faculty of the Juilliard School Drama Division for 6 years as a vocal coach, music director and pianist.  He also was a professor on the faculty of Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of The Arts as well as NYU CAP 2. 

 

He maintains a private coaching studio, working with performers of all ages and levels; from Broadway to beginners. 

He particularly loves to work with young performers in helping them realize their potential and give them tools and encouragement to achieve their greatest dreams as artists.  As an educator for youth organizations he has taught at the Kaufman Center in NYC, The Wright Way, Performers Theater Workshop, TADA and internationally with the Australian Girls Choir, The National Boys Choir AND for the Australia and Adelaide Youth Theater.
