As an educator, John is passionate about working with performers of all ages and levels. He served on the faculty of the Juilliard School Drama Division for 6 years as a vocal coach, music director, and accompanist. He also was a professor on the faculty of Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts as well as NYU CAP21.

 

He maintains a private coaching studio, working with performers of all ages and levels: from Broadway performers to beginners. He particularly loves to work with young performers in helping them realize their potential and give them tools and encouragement to achieve their greatest dreams as artists. As an educator for youth organizations, he has taught at the Kaufman Center in NYC, The Wright Way Studio, Performers Theater Workshop, TADA, MPAC and internationally with the Australian Girls’ Choir, The National Boys Choir of Australia , and the Adelaide Youth Theater.
